I am a Naughty Schoolgirl!

Posted by admin

I’ve been bored lately.  It’s been raining here so I haven’t been able to go to the beach and work on my tan!  It was getting a little depressing so I decided to have some real fun at my photo shoot today.  I’ve always felt like the nice girl with a naughty side so that became the theme of my shoot.  I think it’s soooo sexy when a girl acts all sweet and nice and innocent but really loves to get a little freaky when no one is looking.  I got really into the scene as we were shooting so my naughty side came out big time.  I especially love the photo where I curve my ass out to you and pull my cute panties down just enough for you to see what remains of my fading tan line…..So come on in and lets have some fun together!  First I’ll be real nice and then I’ll get really, really, really naughty! Getting Real In Relationships

Getting Real In Relationships – Really Real
By Steve Wickham

Relationships are effort, pure and simple. But, there are rich rewards for the effort. I was reminded of this recently when I received an article from an online journal I subscribe to. Immediately I read this truth from James Adonis I knew I wanted to comment on it. It just rang true. Admittedly it was ‘work-related’ but what he says applies to, and provokes thought regarding, all communication. Here it is:

“To put communication in context, let’s examine a typical relationship. A man can say “I love you” to his wife but the words alone are meaningless unless they’re accompanied by care and compassion, thoughtful surprises, hand-written cards, faith, support, romantic dinners, and many other actions which convey far more than “I love you” that he really does love her.”

“So what are the lessons for us at work? There are five:

  • What you do communicates much more than what you say.
  • The most important skill – by far – that a manager possesses is communication.
  • Email isn’t communication – it’s just spam.
  • Information isn’t communication – it’s just data.
  • Speaking isn’t even communication – it’s just making noises with your mouth.
  • Listening is the most powerful method of communication we can use.”[1]

So, there you have it. Did you test yourself? How did you go? Challenging isn’t it?

Listening is the golden rule; two ears, one mouth. We learn nothing if we don’t listen. If we learn nothing we have nothing to teach. You might not be a ‘manager’ at a workplace, but I would suggest you do have relationships that require ‘management’ in your life.

Want to be a better communicator? Work hard on your listening skills. Improvement ‘won’t happen overnight,’ as the shampoo advert would say, ‘but it will happen.’

If you want a real and effective relationship with someone whether that is your partner or a work colleague, as Stephen Covey said, “Seek first to understand, then be understood.”

The problem with communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.

Spring Break Packages – Incentives and Teasers
    By Francis Copa

These days when we look at advertisements for spring break packages online, on television, in newspapers, or magazines we see many incentives thrown at us to help us choose one package over another. Twenty hours of free drinks, free pizza at Pizza Hut while your there, free entry to exclusive parties and clubs…these are an example of what you may see posted with the ads. These are called travel teasers. They help one travel agency establish dominance over another by giving away something you can’t get from the other guy. This is usually done when the basic elements of the package have a preset price that can’t be changed due to contract restrictions from the hotels, airlines, or cruise lines. Most of these incentives and travel teasers turn out to be less valuable than they appear.

It’s important to cut through these teasers to reveal the important elements of each package. If it’s an air/hotel package try to concentrate on the price your paying for those two elements. Food may be included if it is an all-inclusive spring break package. If so, this also must be taken into consideration when a price is given. It’s normal for food to add a significant amount to the price.

Some college students may be looking at a cruise/hotel package. These are typically called cruise and stay packages. Bahamas cruises usually offer a cruise and stay package since a Bahama cruise is usually no longer than seven hours each way. Again, look at the cost for the cruise and hotel only when comparing to other spring break deals.

Incentives are great if you view them from the proper perspective. The price shown is what you are paying for your hotel stay and round-trip ticket on a cruise or airline. If by chance the incentives and teasers turn out to be useful that’s great, if not you didn’t pay for them. Travelers who think they are paying for the incentives are usually the people that feel cheated when they return from the spring break vacation.

How Modern Technology And Work Are Impacting Cruise Holidays?
    By John Fletcher

As more and more of us are leading busy lives, and the pressures of work constantly on the rise, going away on that cruising holiday may not be as relaxing as it sounds. Cruising is all about getting away from it all, relaxing in the sun, finding cheap places to eat on excursions. However, more and more people are using this free, relaxation time to use the ships internet café or wi-fi to check work emails.

This “work addiction” was seen years ago, when mobile phones were all the rage, but now it appears to have switched to emails. Cruise holiday agencies are responding to this demand, by increasing the use of Wi-Fi on board ships. So not only are people moving from mobiles to email for work communication, they are also going as far as taking their works laptop on board and emailing from the top deck by the pool. I saw this on numerous occasions during the last cheap cruise I was on.

Are the days of people reading by the top deck pool numbered? (not for the Cheap Cruises I go on). Research from a leading UK newspaper suggests that one in five couples argue on holiday, due to their partner accessing work online. The terrible truth behind this, is that maybe people are so used to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, they are unable to completely relax, even when on holiday, floating in the sun.

In twenty years time, will most people be lying by the pool chatting to colleagues on MSN instead, or finishing off that report due in on the first day back? Only time will tell.

I have been on many cruise holidays in my time (expensive luxury cruises, and Cheap Cruise holidays), and I have seen a startling change during the past 10 years. These days, the internet café will be full (20+ people), despite it being 35 degrees outside. Maybe work is more of an addiction that we can not escape, even on a cruise holiday? We’ll save that for another article.
